| Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D. was a Master of Kundalini and Tantra yogas, and earned his doctorate in the psychology of communication. He applied the timeless wisdom of the Ancients toward the problems of the modern world. Yogi Bhajan was the founder of the 3HO Foundation, a worldwide association of people dedicated to the excellence of the individual. In the three decades he served as Director of Spiritual Education for 3HO, he achieved recognition as a world religious leader and a champion of peace and inter-religious dialogue. His stated goal was not to gather disciples but to train teachers. He is the author of over 30 publications on varied topics including spirituality, business, health, and psychology.

Gurucharan S. Khalsa, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist, teacher and writer, and is a world recognized authority in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Dr. Khalsa is an expert in the mind and in the applied psychology of meditation and peak performance. For 25 years he was in clinical practice with his focus being on executive coaching, conflict resolution, stress management, creativity and the interface of high information technology with optimal human performance. |
He bridges two perspectives: the hard sciences, which he learned in mathematics and chemistry at Harvey Mudd College and graduate mathematics studies at Claremont Graduate School; and the human sciences, which he studied at Boston University for a masters in counseling. He later completed a doctorate in psychology.
He has done original research on the cognitive and physiological
impact of meditation, authored many texts on yoga, designed social
programs, and trained counselors. He is the director of training
for the Kundalini Research Institute. |
